Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between plastic culture tubes and an ordinary test tube?

Culture tubs are made of stronger materials, have better sealing properties, can withstand higher oscillation frequencies and temperature changes, are not prone to deformation or leakage, and are more suitable for oscillation culture. Ordinary test tubes are mostly used for static culture or small-scale reactions.

Our cell culture tubes are designed with standard sizes and are compatible with most thermostatic shakers, circular or reciprocating shakers. The bottom is stable and does not slide easily during shaking, making them suitable for microbial and cell culture experiments.

Yes, we provide culture tube with screw cap that ensure a good seal. They are not prone to leaking when the shaker is running at high speeds. Some models also offer breathable or puncturable caps for experiments that require aeration.

Yes. SDLABIO centrifuge tubes can withstand -80°C and are suitable for frozen sample storage. However, avoid airtight freezing (may burst), and direct contact with liquid nitrogen is not recommended.

PP material has good tolerance to most weak acids and bases, buffers and other chemicals. However, for organic solvents such as chloroform and DMF, it is recommended to test a small amount first or use a special material container.

They conform to international standard sizes and are compatible with universal rotors of centrifuges from mainstream brands on the market (such as Eppendorf, Thermo, and Beckman).

Yes. The one-piece molding process ensures that the tube cap fits tightly and effectively prevents liquid leakage under conditions such as centrifugation, bumping, and freezing.

Yes. The tube has clear scale lines and a matte writing area for easy marking of sample information.

PCR tubes have a thin-wall design, which is critical for efficient and uniform heat transfer during thermal cycling. This ensures that each phase of the PCR—denaturation, annealing, and extension—occurs accurately and consistently across wells.
