Feature of Gas Sampling Bags

Highly airtight materials: PVDF, FEP or Tedlar® membrane materials are selected, which are impermeable and low in adsorption, ensuring that the sample components are not destroyed.
Multiple capacities available: 0.5L, 1L, 3L, 5L, 10L and larger customized capacities are available to meet the diverse needs of the field and the laboratory.
Diverse interface designs: Equipped with standard needle valves, PTFE valves, Septum diaphragms, compatible with syringe sampling or direct connection to gas chromatography instruments.
Inert inner wall treatment: Avoid chemical reactions between samples and bags, suitable for trace analysis.

Instructions for Use Gas Sample Collection Bags

Inflatable pressure: inflatable pressure does not exceed 3KPa, intuitive observation for the gas bag fully bulging, but with a finger pressure and not taut.
Use temperature: PTFE interface -60℃-＋150℃; plug valve interface -20℃-＋80℃.
Storage and use: Keep away from open flame and high temperature, avoid puncture by sharp objects.
Replacement: When filling standard gas or sampling, it should be cleaned with high purity nitrogen and replaced several times with pre-filled gas.
Sampling: Highly elastic silicone rubber sampling pad for needle sampling.

If reused, replace it with high purity nitrogen gas and then with the proposed filling gas.

For high-precision sampling and analysis, should first remove the influence of the background within.

To clear the background you can fill with high-purity nitrogen, placed in the oven heated to 60 ~ 80 ℃ insulation for 10 minutes, empty the nitrogen, repeat the replacement cleaning.

PVF membrane of gas bag sampling has excellent chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, low adsorption. Tedlar gas sampling bag is used for high-precision PPM level analytical sampling, can collect and save a variety of corrosive gases, liquid samples. The heat resistance temperature is 150℃-170℃.

About the stability of the membrane material for tedlar bags for gas sampling, Teflon, Tedlar bag sampling material is recognized as acid and alkali corrosion-resistant materials, their physical and chemical properties are more stable, then from the membrane material, these two materials made of sampling bags background value is the lowest.

FAQ of Gas Sampling Bags

What are the precautions when using a gas sample bag?

Gas samples in the sampling bag should not be kept too long, the specific preservation time and experimental analysis requirements of the detection time limit, the type of gas composition, temperature and humidity, pressure and so on have a great relationship: in general, for the inert pure gas can be used as a temporary storage containers, it is recommended that the storage of not more than 72 hours; for ordinary standard gases, flue gases, environmental atmospheric storage is recommended not to exceed 24 hours.
The gas sampling bags to be reused must be replaced and cleaned several times. It is recommended that the same sampling bag to collect the same type of samples, do not mix the use.
The sampling bag with high-purity nitrogen heating replacement can reduce the interference of organic precipitates.
The inflation pressure does not exceed 3KPa, visual observation for the gas bag fully bulging, but with a finger pressure is not taut. Overpressure filling can cause gas sampling bag burst damage.
Storage and use, away from fire and high temperature, to avoid sharp objects puncture.
Sampling and cleaning, please do not exceed 80% of the calibration volume, to 1L sampling bag, for example, sampling volume does not exceed 0.8L.
