- High tolerance to light and not prone to cracking. Smooth surface of the bottle minimizes residue on the bottle wall.
- EO sterilized, SAL 10(-6), DNase/RNase/pyrogen free.
What’s different about our Plastic Sample Bottles?
Bottle mouth:
There are narrow mouth and wide mouth. Narrow mouth bottles are suitable for storing liquids to prevent volatilization and leakage; wide mouth bottles are suitable for storing solids and powders for easy access.
Bottle size
Plastic sample bottles 100ml, 200 ml sample bottles, 250ml and 500ml reagent bottles are common sizes; Smaller sizes such as 8ml, 15ml, 30ml, etc. and larger sizes such as 1000ml are also available.
For use of weighing other solid or liquid sample, we have weigh boat.
Color: White/clear reagant bottle are better for observation of content, amber reagent bottle is specially for chemicals requiring protection from light

Use of Reagent Bottle
Reagent bottles and weigh boat are often used together in the laboratory, especially in experiments involving the precise weighing and transfer of chemical reagents.
Steps of weighing solid reagents:
Place the weighing pan on the balance and return the balance to zero.
Take the required amount of solid reagent from the bottle and pour it into the weighing pan.
Record the weight of the reagent.
Carefully transfer the solid reagent from the weighing pan to the container required for the experiment.
Steps of weighing liquid reagents:
When taking liquids from a reagent bottle, place a clean weighing pan or small beaker on the balance and return the balance to zero.
Carefully pour the liquid reagent from the vessel into the weighing pan or small beaker to the required weight.
Use a pipette or burette to transfer the liquid to the container required for the experiment to ensure no waste or spillage.
Note: When using different reagents, or pour chemicals from large bottles, make sure to use a clean weighing pan, or wash the weighing pan thoroughly after each use to avoid cross contamination.
Usage tips and precautions
- Accuracy: During the weighing process, make sure the balance is stable and the environment is windless to ensure the accuracy of the weighing results.
- Cleaning: Clean the weighing pan thoroughly before and after use to avoid cross contamination between different reagents.
- Operation: Use tools (such as medicine spoons, pipettes) to take reagents from bottle of chemical to avoid direct contact with the reagents by hand to ensure safety and accuracy.
FAQ of Bottle Samples
What is reagent bottle?
Container for storing chemical reagents, such as capsules, medicines, flavors, detergents and other chemical products. They have the characteristics of good airtightness, no leakage, and can store samples for a long time without deterioration.
What are the reagent bottle uses in laboratory?
1. Storage of Chemicals: Reagent bottle function is for storing various chemicals safely, protecting them from contamination, evaporation, and degradation due to light or air exposure.
2. Dispensing of Reagents: Designed to allow easy pouring or dispensing of liquids or powders, ensuring accurate measurement and minimizing spills.
3. Protection from Light: Protect light-sensitive chemicals, such as certain acids, bases, and organic solvents, by blocking UV and visible light.
4. Labeling and Organization: Come with labels or areas for labeling, allowing proper identification and organization of chemicals to reduce the risk of using incorrect reagents.
5. Mixing and Dilution: In some cases, reagents may be mixed or diluted directly in the bottle, especially if the bottle is made from materials resistant to chemical reactions (like borosilicate glass or certain plastics).
6. Safety and Stability: Reagent bottles are designed to withstand laboratory environments. They help prevent leaks, resist corrosion, and provide stability for volatile or reactive chemicals.
